Project Description
The SPV operates since October 2020 a 2,7MW grid connected wind project in the Prefecture of Cyclades, Municipality of Andros, at location called ‘Marathia’, with an elevation of 282m a.s.l.
The wind turbines installed are three (3) Enercon E44, of nominal power 0.9 MW each, and a hub height of 55 meters.
The direct neighboring landscape is characterized as clear from obstructions with low turbulence measured on site. Land is private and long-term lease agreements are in place. No claims on deeds or titles are pending.
The site does not have any environmental limitations or restrictions and does not fall under any provision of ‘Nature 2000’.
The project is connected to the MV grid line connecting the island with Evia and the new underwater HV electricity transfer line, connecting Polypotamos with Nea Makri.
