An SPV privately owned 100% by Greentop Energy System S.A., founded in Athens, on 25/11/2015. The SPV’s sole purpose is to develop, construct and operate a wind project in Central Greece, with a total capacity of 30.8MW.
Projects
Project Description
The SPV develops a project in the Prefecture of Evrytania, Municipality of Karpenissi, close to the villages of Vraha, Fournas and Chochlia at location called ‘Tria Synora’. The wind park is sited at a height of 1,400 m, on a mountain ridge between the mountains of Tymfristos and Agrafa. The prevailing wind is SSW. The wind potential has been measured by a 40m mast.
The SPV has been granted with a Generation (Production) License and Preliminary Grid Connection Terms and Conditions have been defined by the Hellenic Transmission System Operator (HTSO/ ADMHE). The project has applied for an Environmental license.
The site does not have any environmental limitations or restrictions and does not fall under any provision of ‘Nature 2000’.
To access the site for the transfer of major equipment, few interventions will have to be made along the road network, from the port to the site.
The wind park will be connected, through a new MV substation to the 150 kV HV power transfer line connecting the city of Lamia with the town of Karpenissi. This substation will also hub energy produced by the projects of Spanos Wind Park S.A. (36,3 MW), Gavraina Wind Park S.A. (23,1 MW) and Greentop Kokkala Wind Park S.A. (24 MW). These wind parks are in close distance to one another and all directly are owned by Greentop Energy Systems S.A.
